Lesson 2 on European Destinations - Unit 7 P1 Gateways to Europe

Dear Year 13 L3

Ok were back on the map work.  For P1 you need to identify different aspects of the EU and I have suggested that we create the evidence on the following 4 maps

  • 1 to ID all the EU countries
  • 1 for Eurozone countries identifying Schengen countries with green border free or red borders indicating no free movement between countries
  • 1 for an air gateway using IATA codes per country, rail links (Eurostar)  and seaports
  • 1 for leisure destinations including beach, countryside, winter sports, cities or cruises
Remember there are around 49 European countries but not all of them are a member of the European Union

Here is a great PREZI to support you with P1 click here
