Mehir Amin a year 9 GCSE
Business Studies student has had a wonderful year after his successful entry to
the Academy Inter house young apprentice competition earlier in February.
Not only did he win a place in the OBX competition in the coming Autumn but he
has just had his first in school business venture ‘SchoolMate’ approved by the
Principal and aims to launched his learning equipment supply service for
students of OSA. In a nutshell students order from his virtual shop and
see their goods delivered through the tutor group the following day.
Mehir says "you can order as late as 4pm for a next day guaranteed
delivery. Well done Mehir, the Business & Enterprise Faculty look
forward to supporting the success of your ideas and seeing SchoolMate grow and
maybe even take up a physical space in the new build !
